proximity to my son's boarding school, outstanding food

    no fitness center!

    Fabulous

    Great location friendly staff.

I think a it is a little pricey. Breakfast was a little on the lukewarm side and we had to serve our own second cup of coffee after a long wait

    Very good

One of the staff was very helpful to me. The wireless system was simple to access.

The desk staff were not friendly. They were dismissive. It was not pleasant The walls were thin. I sneezed and someone in the next room said God Bless You. We could hear people talking as we went to sleep. I was surprised to be charged for a refrigerator

There is a shortage of busboys in the dining room and bar There is no bellman to help with luggage The shower stall is too small and there is no safety bar to hold on to The bare walls in the room are depressing The food in the dining room is boring

    Very good

It's a charming place with friendly staff and a throw-back vibe, but it's way past time for new bedspreads, mattresses, carpeting, etc!

Proximity to Williams College. Friendly service and comfortable rooms.

Pillows could be better. Updated televisions would be a plus!

    convenience to wedding

They would not give us the wedding rate so we paid much more per night than the rest of the attendees of the wedding.

Loved the in-town location. Everything in Williamstown MA is within walking distance of the hotel. The dining room looked nice, although we didn't eat there.

I have a long list: 1. The hotel has 1960's style decor -- rather outdated. 2. No porters to help with luggage. 3. No fitness facilities. 4. Small, tube TV vs HD flatscreens in most hotels. 5. Very expensive - $180.00 plus tax per night. 6. Swimming pool area located in basement is in bad need of repair. 7. Parking lot needs to be resurfaced - lots of potholes and cracks. 8. Worn, dirty carpeting in the entrance. 9. In summary, yuck! Don't go there.

    Very good

the grade of the sheets was poor, the room was a bit out dated. i spend alot of time in hotels for work i like good a/c and good beds and sheets. and a clean room, this was clean.

Location. You can walk to the Clark Art Museum and the Williams College Art Museum. It is conveniently located on the way to Mass MoCA. Quiet room.

Small room. No closet. No desk. Old chairs with fraying fabric. Old carpeting. Blasting air conditioner was on so high that we had to reverse it and put on the heat to make the room a bearable temperature. Very expensive for what you get. For $4 more one can stay at the updated Orchard's just up the street.

    Exceptional

From the moment I walked into the Williams Inn I was enchanted with its charm. The room was spotless and comfortable. The food and waitstaff were friendly, helpful and the service just perfect. It was just a stones throw to the Williamstown Theatre Festival (which is why I was in Williamstown). I'm an aspiring author and was so enchanted with the Inn, I booked reservations for later this month just so I may concentrate on my writing. I think this could become my once-a-month writing retreat.

    Exceptional

Hotel staff is courteous and very helpful with information about the area. The rooms are very comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. I love the setting and location of the Inn and it's kept very clean. Thank you for a comfortable and welcoming stay.

No safe box to secure personal belongings and no small cooler. Service in the dining room at breakfast was very slow even though it wasn't at all busy. Waitress didn't come around and ask if I would like more coffee and the oatmeal was served cold. Also, on both mornings, they forgot to bring me skim milk and by the time I got it, the coffee was cold.

quaint country inn , handy location, charm.

Rooms were very dated. The whole place needs to be brought up to the current standards of todays hotels. Carpets, televisions, furniture. The lounge needs a serious retrofit.
